making space
4 weeks to untangle burnout
built on the downshift method
i’m so happy you found your way here.
something about this work called to you, and i’m really glad you listened.
making space is for the overachiever, the doer, the person who learned how to keep going no matter what. the career, the calendar, the responsibilities, the life you worked incredibly hard to build.
and somehow, you still wake up tired.
this isn’t about doing more. it’s about teaching your body that less can be enough, stillness can feel safe, and rest does not have to be earned.
we start 9/28.
what the next four weeks actually look like
making space is not four weeks of information to consume.
each week, you’ll learn one layer of regulation, practice it for 15 minutes a day, reflect on what you’re noticing, and then bring it into our live session to see how it actually integrates into your life.
week one · safety
we start by learning your baseline.
where do you brace? where do you rush? where do you override what your body is asking for?
through daily regulation guidance and journal prompts, you’ll begin noticing the patterns your body has been running automatically and practicing what safety can actually feel like.
week two · interrupt the pattern
this week is about catching stress while it’s happening.
you’ll practice simple regulation tools that help you create a little more space between what happens and how your body responds.
not three hours later. not only when the workday is over. while life is actually happening.
week three · making space
once we’ve created some safety, we can start looking underneath the constant doing.
the urgency. the pressure. the guilt around rest. the patterns you may have gotten very good at functioning inside of.
your daily practices and journal prompts give you space to notice what you’re carrying without turning this into another thing to fix.
week four · integration
this is where we bring everything together.
you’ll begin identifying which practices actually work for you, what your early signs of dysregulation look like, and how to respond before you’re already running on empty.
the goal is not to leave with another perfect routine.
it’s to leave knowing how to come back to yourself.
what you’ll have along the way
daily regulation guidance
about 15 minutes a day to practice what we’re learning in your actual body, not just understand it intellectually.
guided journal entries
simple prompts to help you notice your patterns, your pressure points and what your body may be asking for.
one live regulation session each week
we practice together and explore how the work is showing up in real time, because regulation looks different when life is actually lifeing.
two private 1:1 sessions with me
space to make the work personal to your nervous system, your patterns and the life you’re actually living.
over a decade in corporate. scaling the org, giving everything, while staying religiously committed to my routines: the hot girl walks, the health kicks, the calendar planned to the minute. i was in full denial of burnout. i loved my job. it wasn't the job, it was just... the move. even while my body, my energy, kept telling me something different.
what i found wasn't more habits to add. it was regulation. and regulation asked me for less, not more. not how many things i could fit in, but what i could take away. not another routine to perform, but the intention behind what i was doing, and learning how to regulate for my own body, specifically.
here's the thing: that's not something i can hand you online. it's not information, it's not a habit tracker, it's not a meditation you passively listen to and get transformed by. it's something you can only discover for yourself, inside your own body. what i can do, what this cohort is, is support you through that process of discovery. guide it, hold the container, walk it alongside you. not do it for you.
i've sat across the table from hundreds of people doing this work. building individual regulation plans, practicing the downshift framework, running nervous system assessments. one on one, in person, at my studio and everywhere i travel. now i'm ready to scale it, to make it accessible to more people than i could ever see privately.
"I didn't realize how much I was holding until I slowed down. Nothing forced, nothing overwhelming. Just small, intentional practices that gently brought me back to myself."
"Maddy was amazing! I did a session with a girlfriend and we both had such a great experience. Her energy is so calming and comforting, and she immediately made us feel completely at ease. I'm not someone who regularly practices yoga or does a lot of this type of work, but I never felt out of place or uncomfortable. She has such a natural way of explaining things that makes everything feel approachable and easy to understand. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and grounded, and I actually slept better that night than I had in a while. You can tell Maddy genuinely cares about creating a comfortable and positive experience for the people she works with. I would absolutely recommend booking with her."
